Medigap plan now available
The Johns Hopkins Health System has made available a Medigap Plan that is underwritten by The Hartford Life & Accident Insurance Company, an A+ insurance carrier. The plan is administered by National Employee Benefit Companies (NEBCO). NEBCO assists thousands of retirees with their health benefits. The company is known for its excellent customer service standards.
The coverage is available to you and your eligible spouse at your own expense. To be eligible for this plan, you must be age 65 or older, no longer working, and enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B.
Three plans are offered and one of the plans includes prescription drug benefits administered by IdealScripts, with no annual maximum, and a convenient mail-order service (Plan III only). The prescription drug plan is honored at approximately 53,000 participating pharmacies nationwide.
The plans work seamlessly with Medicare. Claims will be processed electronically so you do not have to file claim forms. Another advantage is that you will have a toll-free customer care number to call for any information you need about your benefits since NEBCO will be administering and servicing all aspects of your health plan.
