Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Scholarship

Research and Investigation

The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship provides robust training in all aspects of clinical pediatric cardiology in addition to foundational scholarly education leading to an in-depth understanding of biostatistics, clinical and laboratory research methodology, preparation of applications for funding, and critical literature review as well as ethics and principles of evidence-based medicine. Proficiency in teaching will also be achieved.

In addition to the core curriculum, fellows will participate in projects where they develop hypotheses and conduct scholarly exploration and analysis of critical issues in pediatric cardiology. Areas of scholarly activity may include, but are not limited to: basic, clinical or translational biomedicine, health services, quality improvement, bioethics, education and public policy.

The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Clinical and Translational Research includes the Research and Grant Administration Core, Study Design and Analysis Core, the Pediatric Biorepository, the Research Operations Core, the Database Design and Data Management Core, the Investigational Drug-Services Core, the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Core, and the Investigational New Drug/Investigational Device Exemption Core. Fellows are encouraged to apply for CTRT program.
