CME Courses Specific to the Department of Genetic Medicine
Human and Mammalian Genetics and Genomics (the McKusick Short Course) is an intensive 11-day course held in late July at the Jackson Laboratories in Bar Harbor, Maine. The course covers basic principles to the latest developments in mammalian genetics. Faculty members consists roughly in thirds of Jackson Laboratory staff, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Genetic Medicine faculty and guest faculty, comprising outstanding mammalian geneticists from other universities in the United States and around the world. Guest faculty have included Jeanne Lawrence, Stylianos Antonarakis, Goncalo Abecasis, Phil Reilly, Eddy Rubin, Richard Weinshilboum, Jennifer Puck, Rudy Jaenisch, Andy Clark, Elaine Mardis, Daniel MacArthur, David Kingsley and others.
