I am considering a fellowship in pediatric nephrology with a concentration in tuberous sclerosis renal disease. However, I am open to finding new and exciting passions in pediatrics!
Personal Interests:
Food, animals, and sunshine- those are my favorite things! I love cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants and cuisine types. I am an avid animal lover- I have a kitten, O’Malley, and really enjoy getting to spend time with all of my co-residents’ dogs! I also enjoy getting to explore all the outdoor activities in St. Pete- kayaking, snorkeling, tennis, nature trails, gator watching, and laying on the beach!

Right now, I am keeping an open mind! I don't have a specialty I am set on yet, but I love doing procedures and anything that is fast-paced. We’ll see! I also have an interest in advocacy and community outreach.
Personal Interests:
I love being active outside whether that is playing soccer, going on a run by the water, or playing spike ball on the beach. I enjoy baking! My go-to currently is baking cookie cakes. I also have a passion for eating ice cream, watching and quoting New Girl and The Office and staring at the ocean looking for dolphins.

Clinical Interests:
I appreciate primary care as a bedrock of pediatric health care. Although, cardiology has been my favorite specialty for quite some time. Additionally, I hope to incorporate some aspect of artificial intelligence in my scholarly activity. In upcoming years, I intend to learn and discern how to proceed with my career so that it brings about the greatest amount of common good.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, outdoor and indoor sports/work-out, philosophical/contemplative literature, and plum ice cream.
Isabel Hendrickson, M.D.
Home Town:
Great Falls, Virginia
Medical School:

Clinical Interests:
I am interested in general pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine, and hospital medicine. Who knows, more doors may open as I experience other subspecialties throughout my time at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
Personal Interests:
When I am not at the hospital, I love to be outside. Some of my favorite new hobbies include paddle boarding through St. Pete and searching for manatees, going on long biking trips with my husband, reading by the pool or beach, and making home-made ice cream!
Mikaela Holland, M.D.
Home Town:
South Fulton, Tennessee
Medical School:
University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine
Clinical Interests:
I’m undecided. So far, I’m most interested in general pediatrics, peds hospital medicine, or peds EM/urgent care. I’ve enjoyed working with patients of all ages (newborn to adolescence), and I love forming relationships with patients and families. Regardless of what I choose, I know I’ll want to integrate my clinical practice/skills into some form of community service.
Personal Interests:
I love my God, my husband, my step children, and my pets (cat & dog)! I love spending time with those listed above, going to concerts/listening to live music, weaving yarn tapestries, doing any outdoorsy activity (land or sea), cheering on the local Tampa Bay sports teams, and exploring beautiful St. Pete!
Serena Martin, M.D.
Home Town:
Longwood, Florida
Medical School:
University of Florida College of Medicine
Clinical Interests:
I am undecided whether I want to practice as a pediatric generalist or become a pediatric subspecialist. However, I look forward to treating my pediatric patients with care, compassion, and creativity no matter what field I end up in. My additional clinical interests include medical education, medical simulation, quality improvement, and resident wellness.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy spending my free time being physically active, especially playing pickleball, tennis, or bicycling. I also love taking my sister's POUND fitness classes, where she leads us through full-body workouts using lightly weighted drumsticks. I enjoy traveling and watching musicals with my family. I also like cooking new recipes and trying new restaurants.

I love to be active. This includes exercising, playing any sport, and diving into the wide variety of activities in Florida that I previously couldn't experience. When at home, I really enjoy cooking a wide variety of foods, but I am most known for my pizzas and pasta.
