Dr. Kyle Barnack is a first-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellow. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine followed by a residency and chief year at Carolinas Medical Center. His academic interests include social drivers of health and PICU outcomes, bedside ultrasound, medical education, and reducing overutilization in bronchiolitis.

Dr. Jessica Boegner is a second-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellow. She graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed her pediatric residency at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Her academic interests include shock, resuscitations, and medical education.

Alexa Roberts, M.D.

Dr. Alexa Roberts is a second-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellow. She graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, then completed her pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Her academic interests include critical asthma, ARDS, preventable harms research and quality improvement.
Brett Russi, M.D.

Dr. Brett Russi is a third-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellow. He graduated from Florida State University College of Medicine then completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Florida. His academic interests include non-invasive ventilation for the management of bronchiolitis and status asthmaticus and pediatric ARDS.

Dr. Emily Zander is a first-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellow. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma medical school before continuing to her residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Her academic interests are simulation in medical education and quality improvement.
