Pharmacy Residency Program: Application
Applications will be accepted through PhORCAS, the web-based pharmacy residency application system, starting in November. The deadline for application is January 1. For more information about PhORCAS, go to:

Applicants to PGY2 specialty programs, including the two year Investigational Drugs and Research, Pharmacotherapy, Informatics or Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership programs:
Interested applicants are encouraged to register with Personnel Placement Service (PPS) and schedule an interview with the Residency Program Director, or contact the Program Director directly in advance of the Midyear Clinical Meeting.
All applicants must be registered with the National Matching Service. Information on eligibility and registration may be found at http://www.natmatch.com/ashprmp/.
Pre-requisites for PGY1 programs including the two year combined programs: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school or college; minimum GPA of 3.0.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Pharmacy does not currently sponsor candidates for
H-1B status to work as pharmacy residents.
Applicants interested in the program should submit the following materials through PhORCAS:
- Curriculum vitae
Provide information about your: a) education, b) work experience, c) rotations, d) community service, e) professional and society memberships, f) leadership experience, g) awards and honors, h) presentations, i) publications and j) research experience. - Transcript
- Three References
References should complete the reference section in PhORCAS. Traditional letters of reference are not required. - Letter of Intent
