Next Steps Following Program Completion
What should I expect following completion of the program?
Upon successfully completing the training program, students must complete new pharmacy technician registration with the Maryland, District of Columbia, or Florida Board of Pharmacy within one week. The student's position will be advanced to Pharmacy Technician once Board of Pharmacy registration is confirmed.
The Pharmacy Technician Training Program will prepare students to obtain national certification (ex: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification). National certification is a requirement for some of our sites. Students must obtain national certification within the designated time frame listed below.
