Dr. Kaitlyn Gelb is originally from Rochester, NY. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. She has prior experience in retail pharmacy and hopes to challenge herself by expanding her scope of practice and strengthening her clinical knowledge. Dr. Gelb’s professional interests include ambulatory care, primary care, geriatrics, and psychiatry, with the goal of becoming an ambulatory care pharmacist. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients through face-to-face interactions and values the opportunity to offer clinical recommendations to the healthcare team. In Dr. Gelb’s free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, watching sunsets, exploring new cafes, and traveling.  

Dr. Michael A. Snitzer is originally from Cincinnati, OH. He completed undergraduate coursework at Towson University, and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Dr. Snitzer’s professional interests include infectious disease, toxicology, and outpatient community pharmacy. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two young daughters, playing & following sports, and reading. Dr. Snitzer would like to thank his family, friends, and mentors for their continued help and support throughout his pharmacy career.

Dr. Shekinah Banson is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University, a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from the University of Maryland University College, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She gained valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where she contributed to medication development and project management, and later worked in inpatient, home infusion, and retail pharmacy management. She is currently completing a two-year Community Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) Residency at Johns Hopkins Care at Home while pursuing her Master of Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Her professional interests include home infusion, addiction medicine, and specialty pharmacy, with a strong commitment to bridging the gap between decentralized care and health system operations. Dr. Banson finds joy in giving back to the community by educating others on substance use disorder and naloxone, expressing creativity through journaling and roller-skating, and recharging through nature, travel, and quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Jennifer Zhao is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Chemistry at Dartmouth College and Doctor of Pharmacy at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Before becoming a pharmacist, she worked as an Associate at Kinexum Services LLC, a healthcare consulting group specializing in regulatory strategy, clinical development, and commercialization. Dr. Zhao is in her first year of the two-year Community Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) Residency at Johns Hopkins Care at Home, which includes completing a Master of Business Administration degree at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Her professional interests include home infusion, specialty pharmacy, pharmacy operations, and quality improvement. In her free time, Dr. Zhao enjoys exploring the outdoors, playing with dogs, baking desserts, and spending time with friends and family.
