Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy and eligible for Maryland licensure. Johns Hopkins Care at Home Pharmacy Services currently does not sponsor candidates for H-1B status to work as pharmacy residents. Both the PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency and the PGY1/2 Community-based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) Residency Programs participate in the National Matching Service and abide by all terms of the ASHP Residency Matching Program. All applicants must be registered with the National Matching Service (NMS). Residency Program NMS code is 182015 and the PGY1/2 CPAL Residency Program NMS code is 227244. Information on eligibility and registration may be found at: http://www.natmatch.com/ashprmp/. Interested candidates should apply online through the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS). 2. Curriculum Vitae
3. Three (3) PhORCAS Recommendation Forms
4. Official Academic Transcript from Pharmacy School

Following receipt of the application via PhORCAS, selected candidates will be invited for an on-site interview. The deadline to submit all application materials in PhORCAS is January 2nd. 

Candidates interested in the PGY1/2 Community-based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency Program are encouraged to register and participate in the Personnel Placement Service (PPS) at the ASHP Midyear Meeting. Candidates should contact the Program Director via the PPS portal and schedule an interview in advance of the ASHP Midyear Meeting. PPS interviews may not be available if the candidate waits to schedule a PPS interview onsite at the Midyear Meeting. Candidates will have the opportunity to learn more about the program details and interview with the Program Director and preceptors at PPS.

Pharmacy Residency program interviews are in person for invited candidates. Candidates are responsible for any travel costs to Baltimore. Out of town candidates may be eligible for a one night hotel stay. You will be contacted with further details if you are selected for an interview.
