Wellness & Support Resources

  • Student Health & Well-Being provides primary care and mental health services for students and trainees on all Hopkins campuses.
  • SilverCloud is a Behavioral Health Self-Guided and Coaching program centered on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with tools to deal with stress, anxiety, and mild depression.
  • The Department of Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy provides prayer, careful and sensitive listening, encouragement and comfort, exploration of hope, religious rituals, end of life care discussions, provision of sacred literature and devotional items, and assistance with religious/dietary observances. Please review the website for weekly worship services (Catholic Mass, Prayer time with the Chaplain, Jewish Minyan, Muslim Jumah Prayer, and Mindful Pause) as well as chapels and quiet places.
  • TimelyCare
    • TalkNow: 24/7 on-demand connection with a provider.
    • Scheduled Counseling: on-going televideo counseling from a licensed provider.
    • Psychiatry: Short-term, teletherapy psychiatry appointments for those who otherwise lack prompt access to psychiatry.
    • MedicalNow: This unlimited, 24/7, on-demand service provides support for common health issues in all states. 
    • Scheduled Medical Care: Users can schedule virtual appointments and seek treatment for over 120 common issues, including allergies, a cold, the flu, and dermatology. 
  • Workshops and Outreach through Mental Health Services and Health Promotion & Well-Being

  •  East Baltimore Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team with 24/7/365 coverage via 410-516-9355 and on-site coverage 9:30 am-2:00 am. If you call that number, you can speak directly to a clinician who can help triage and support, and they can also mobilize in-person response as needed.
  • Student Well-Being: Website with well-being resources for the JHU student community
  • Physician Support Line:  700 + volunteer psychiatrists helping U.S. physicians and medical students with a free and confidential service. Open 7 days, 8 am- 1 am EST. 1-888-409-0141
