Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Alumni Relations hosts opportunities throughout the year for students and trainees to connect with alumni.
Registration for these programs are open to students and trainees only. Alumni who are interested in hosting any of the following programs should contact Jamie Seward, Senior Associate Director of Alumni Relations, at [email protected].
Connect the Docs
Connect the Docs are virtual opportunities for medical students to connect with alumni to gain career advice and share experiences, all in a casual, conversational setting. Connect the Docs features alumni from diverse specialties, backgrounds and career experiences. All programs are hosted on Zoom. Participants should be prepared to be on camera and participate in the conversation.
Capacity is limited to 25 attendees per session. The school of medicine Alumni Relations team will provide Grubhub gift cards to attendees.
MedTalks
MedTalks are in-person lunch conversations with M.D./Ph.D. and Ph.D. alumni working outside of academic settings. Current M.D./Ph.D. and Ph.D. students are invited to learn about career paths and gain insights from alumni experiences.
Capacity is limited to 25 attendees per session.
Dine with a Doc
Dine with a Doc provides medical students the opportunity to connect with alumni over dinner for an evening of conversation. It’s a chance for students to gain insights into specialties and career paths.
Molecules and a Meal
Molecules and a Meal provides M.D./Ph.D. students the opportunity to connect with medical science training program alumni over dinner for an evening of conversation. It’s an opportunity to gain insights on career paths, research opportunities, and more as students consider their future in science and medicine. Space is limited for these events so please plan to register early.
