Professional Development and Career Office

The JHM Professional Development and Career Office (PDCO) supports graduate students in exploring, identifying, and preparing for a broad range of career paths. They offer personalized career guidance to help students focus on their professional goals and develop the skills needed to be successful in the career path of their choice. Graduate students are guaranteed protected time to dedicate to career development.

Office of International Services

The Office of International Services (OIS) supports our international students and postdocs throughout their training in the School of Medicine. In addition to visa and immigration assistance they provide basic services for international students as they transition to living in the U.S. and Baltimore.

Disability Services

The School of Medicine is committed to fully supporting students with a physical, mental, or learning disability. Students are strongly encouraged to contact the Disabilities Coordinator in the Office of Graduate Biomedical Education (OGBE) to discuss their specific needs and request any disability-related accommodations or services. Student Health & Well-Being provides primary care and mental health services to SOM students and trainees.

Graduate Student Association (GSA)

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) represents the interests of all graduate students in the School of Medicine. It acts as a liaison between the graduate student body and university administration, and serves as a hub of information and resources for all aspects of graduate student life. All graduate students at the School of Medicine are members of the GSA.
