Pedal for Pediatrics

For the past five years, dozens of preschool students in the Baltimore area have participated in Pedal for Pediatrics, a bike-a-thon to raise funds for the Division of Pediatric Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Baltimore’s Redeemer Parish Day School alone has raised more than $22,000. By expanding the fundraising event to additional local schools, the bike-a-thon has collectively raised nearly $55,000.  The annual event will continue this year with a virtual ride on Friday, May 1, 2020.

Where YA Meet - Young Adults with Cancer

Young Adults Meeting and coming together, fighting cancer and embracing survivorship!

Join a group of young adults in the 20's and 30's who are currently in treatment for cancer (or up to one year post-treatment). Through various events participants will learn coping strategies that will more effectively navigate their cancer experience as well as foster a community of support. Group sessions will address topics that are relevant to young adult living with cancer including identity issues, nutrition and exercise, intimacy and sexuality, and managing at work.

**Meetings happen the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
