Carly McTeague
She joined the Johns Hopkins Oncology team at Green Spring Station in 2019. She has worked with adult oncology patients since graduating with her master's degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2015. She is board-certified in adult and geriatric primary care through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care during all stages of cancer from newly diagnosed, active treatment, surveillance, recurrent disease, palliative care, and survivorship. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Carly worked in inpatient and outpatient oncology and spent time as a travel nurse. She received her bachelor's of science in nursing in 2009 from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.
Nelli Zafman
Lead Nurse Practitioner Greenspring Campus and Breast Division
She is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been with Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center since 2008. She provides support, education, and medical care to patients undergoing cancer therapy. She received her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 1995. She worked as an intensive care nurse for several years until she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree as well as a Nurse Practitioner certification from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2004. As a nurse practitioner, she found her new passion in providing care for oncology patients. She obtained Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner Certification from Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. She became a part of the medical oncology group at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in February 2008

Michelle M. Turner, MS, CRNP
Nurse Practitioner Manager Solid Tumor Oncology
She has been an oncology nurse practitioner for over 18 years in the sub-specialties of GI, melanoma and thoracic malignancies. Her undergraduate studies were in biological sciences and after graduating from Wheaton College in Norton Ma, she went on to work on T and B cell research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston for 2 years prior to pursuing higher education. She received her master's degree from the Boston College School of Nursing and then went to work at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore MD in melanoma, GI and thoracic malignancies growing in her practice to achieve Lead Nurse Practitioner status and Associate Professor of Nursing from her many years of precepting NP students. She has had a passion for side effect management for oncology patients and over the years has given lectures nationally and internationally focusing on TKI toxicities and immune-toxicities.
In 2017 she went to Johns Hopkins University Kimmel Cancer Center Thoracic Center of Excellence as a Nurse Practitioner Manager where her administrative role allows for education and involvement in the advancement of clinic operations, NP staff and the development of an oncology urgent care center. In December 2020 she became the Advanced Practice Provider Manager for Johns Hopkins Solid Tumor Oncology which spans the campuses of Bayview, Downtown Johns Hopkins and Green Spring Station. In this position she adds value to the disease groups by initiating concepts for the group to function more effectively and efficiently and assumes fiscal responsibility with working knowledge of evidence based medical model.
Her current research focus is in the management of the long-term toxicities from immunotherapy treatment and received the 2021 Brager Award to help support this interest. She is a member of the International Association of the Study of Lung Cancer Nursing and Allied Health committee.
She is also the president of the Baltimore City Nurse Practitioner Group which meets monthly to discuss oncology topics and help colleagues at all levels network and collaborate across health systems.
Tricia Patel
Clare Ferrigno, MSN, CRNP, ACHPN.
A Nurse practitioner specializing in advanced cancers and palliative care. Has been a nurse practitioner since 2002, but started nursing career originally as an LPN in 1982, before earning a BSN from the University of Delaware in 1987. Since entering nursing, has worked in diverse clinical settings including critical care, early bone marrow transplant, oncology, geriatrics, home care, and home hospice, with much of this time focusing on pain and symptom management for people with advanced cancers. Had the privilege to be part of a team to establish one of the first programs for medically complex patients to safely receive care at home. With a constant focus on intertwining oncology and palliative care, helped to develop several hospice bridge programs as well as the clinical components of varying care delivery systems in the outpatient setting. In 2002, after graduating with a Master’s of Science in Nursing and completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program from Bowie State University, continued blending oncology and palliative care for people with cancer across many outpatient settings, while also helping to build infrastructures to streamline patient care. Her care goals are to include the wealth of diverse care providers blended together for the best patient outcomes possible. As a preceptor and teacher for students across the range of health care providers, from nursing to medicine, including social work, case managers and allied health, has enjoyed sharing experiences and learning together. Personally, looks forward to the challenges and joys each day brings.

She earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Science in 2009 from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the NCCPA and currently practices within the Upper Aerodigestive Medical Oncology Department as a Sr. Physician Assistant at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Valerie Peterson, C.R.N.P
Valerie Peterson received her bachelor of science in nursing from York College of Pennsylvania in 2011. She worked as an inpatient senior clinical nurse on the Medical Oncology unit at GBMC in Towson, MD. She then went onto expand her nursing knowledge and critical care experience on the Medical Intermediate Care at the University of Maryland. In 2015 she graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Maryland. She is board-certified in adult and geriatric primary care through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Valerie has been committed to providing care to the adult thoracic oncology patients at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Bayview since 2016. She is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care during all stages of cancer from newly diagnosed, active treatment, side effect management, surveillance, palliative care and survivorship. -
Paige Griffith
Lead APP For Viragh Oncology
Paige Griffith is a nurse practitioner in the gastrointestinal oncology practice in the Skip Viragh Outpatient Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. She also works in the oncology urgent care unit and serves as a rapid response provider for the Skip Viragh building. She earned her bachelor’s degree in genetics from Clemson University in 2010 prior to receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2012. She worked on the solid tumor oncology unit at Johns Hopkins prior to graduating with her master’s degree as an Adult/Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2018. She is a licensed nurse practitioner in Maryland and a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is an Oncology Certified Nurse. Paige specializes mainly in the treatment of primary liver cancers. She serves on the nursing advisory board of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in addition to the Advance Practice Provider Council at JHH.
Amy Ryan, MSN, CRNP
She is a nurse practitioner who works in the ambulatory solid tumor malignancies department at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Mrs. Ryan has spent her entire nursing career caring for oncology patients here at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2007. She worked as an inpatient nurse in the adult acute leukemia unit for 7 years. Mrs. Ryan earned her Master’s in Nursing degree from University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2013. She is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Maryland and a board certified Adult – Geriatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Mrs. Ryan was awarded the Miller Coulson Nurse Practitioner Clinical Excellence Award in May 2018. Mrs. Ryan works with gastrointestinal malignancy patients primarily with pancreaticobiliary and colorectal cancers.
Keith McIntyre, CRNP
Keith McIntyre is a nurse practitioner in the division of medical oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Mr. McIntyre earned his master’s of science in nursing in 1999 from the Johns Hopkins University. He is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Maryland and board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Mr. McIntyre treats patients with gastrointestinal and genitourinary malignancies.
Rachel Klein, MSN, CRNP
Rachel Klein is a medical oncology nurse practitioner at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, specializing Gastrointestinal Malignancies and Immunological Research. She primarily treats pancreatic, colorectal, and hepatobiliary cancers, including cholangiocarcinoma. She is a co-facilitator of the SKCCC retreats for metastatic colorectal and pancreatic cancer survivors. Ms. Klein earned both her Master of Science in Nursing (2016) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2012) from Johns Hopkins University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies and Public Health (2008) from UCLA. She is a board certified Adult-Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds a Maryland license.
Allison Uzupus DNP, CRNP, OCN
Allison graduated with a bachelor's in science degree from Towson University where she studied biology. After graduating from Towson, she worked for 3 years as a laboratory technologist in the lab of Dr. Elizabeth Jaffee at Johns Hopkins working in pancreatic cancer immunotherapy research. She then went on to complete her second bachelor's in science in nursing from Johns Hopkins University and began working as an infusion nurse in ambulatory oncology, focusing on treating patients with gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She completed her DNP/NP with a focus in adult/gerontological primary care at University of Maryland School of Nursing. She continued her tenure at Johns Hopkins where she now combines her past experiences in immunology and GI cancers as a GI nurse practitioner in medical oncology, with a focus in treating patients with pancreatic cancer.
Victoria J. Sinibaldi, RN-C, MS, ARNP, GRNP
Victoria J. Sinibaldi is a Research Associate on the Faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an affiliate staff member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, specializing in genitourinary malignancies at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Maryland, board-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, as well as an Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Sinibaldi primarily treats patients with prostate, kidney, bladder
and testicular cancers. Ms. Sinibaldi earned her bachelor and master degrees in nursing from the School of Nursing at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She is a member of many local, regional, and national professional organizations, among them the American College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). In addition to giving presentations at ASCO meetings, she has presented at many invited lectures and has participated in core curriculum reviews for oncology nurses around the country. Ms. Sinibaldi has coauthored more than 90 articles in such journals as the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer, and Seminars in Oncology.
Carol Riley RN, MSN, CRNP,
She first received her bachelor of science in nursing from Towson State University in 1987 and then began working in the Oncology Center at Johns Hopkins on the solid tumor/bone marrow transplant unit. After eight years as a senior clinical nurse, she pursued her graduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and graduated in 1998. She received her Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in August of 1998. She joined the Breast and Gynecological Malignancy Program group in October of 1998 where she provides support, education, and medical care to patients undergoing standard and research cancer therapy.
Erin Cronin AGNP, CRNP
Erin Cronin CRNP has enjoyed working with Oncology patients for nearly three decades in multiple settings. She has experience with inpatient and acute care, home health, outpatient ambulatory services, and hospice care. Her most recent position at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center has been as our “Float Nurse Practitioner,” covering any Medical Oncology provider needs and assisting a variety of practice groups for days, weeks, or even months at a time. Erin is currently with the Department of Neuro-Oncology where patients face the challenges of a brain tumor; she enjoys working with these complex patients to navigate the physical and emotional hurdles of both diagnosis and treatment. In this setting Erin is able to provide the support and care needed for patients to face obstacles and adjust treatment to meet ever-changing needs and goals.
Stephanie Russell DNP, AGNP-C
Stephanie Russell is a board-certified nurse practitioner with the Genitourinary Malignancy division of the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is board-certified in adult and geriatric primary care through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 2014. She has a decade of experience caring for oncology patients and publishing and presenting on a variety of oncology nursing topics.
Suzanne Taylor PA-C
Suzanne completed a Master’s program in Physician Assistant studies at George Washington University in 2002. She started her career as a Physician Assistant (PA) working on telemetry and intermediate care units at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore for 10 years, and at the same time, served as a PA reservist in the US Coast Guard. This was followed by a primary care position at the U.S. Army Clinic Vicenza treating soldiers and their families, along with acting as the primary Traumatic Brain Injury provider for active duty personnel based at this unit. Suzanne joined Johns Hopkins in 2019 and works mostly with the head and neck and thoracic teams. She is married and has 2 children and a chocolate lab named Koby. -

Michele L. Reilly, MSN-ANP-BC, has been part of Johns Hopkins Hospital for nearly two years, following a 30-year career at Westchester Medical Center in New York. With over two decades of experience as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Oncology, she also holds a degree as a CNS in Critical Care from New York. Michele earned her master’s degree from Lehman College in New York and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cats.

Allison (Allie) Shaw is a nurse practitioner in the oncology evaluation and treatment center. She graduated from Sacred Heart University School of Nursing in 2018. She started her nursing career as a hematology/oncology nurse on an acute care unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2018. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2022 from Marymount University School of Nursing. She is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Maryland and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Mary Radcliff
Mary Radcliff is a nurse practitioner in the Oncology Evaluation and Treatment Clinic (OETC) at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. She cares for those with hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. Mary earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2021 specializing in Family Primary Care. Mary then completed a yearlong fellowship with the University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center where she received clinical training in hematology, medical oncology, and stem cell transplants.Mary is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Maryland, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
