FY23 Annual Report: President's Letter
A Message From the President
Steven J. Kravet, M.D., M.B.A.
Welcome to the Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Report for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Here you will learn more about our organization and read stories of achievement from our last fiscal year, July 2022 through June 2023.
At the time of writing this message, we are a team of 1,676 individuals, all working together towards our common mission: to bring Johns Hopkins Medicine to our communities. This team consists of more than 600 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives who provide primary, specialty and hospital-based care in more than 50 clinical spaces. We are proud to serve communities throughout Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia.
I remain deeply proud of the excellence and resilience of our organization and all of its employees. Our team is strong, creative, innovative and flexible. Throughout this report, you will read stories that epitomize these characteristics; from expanding our clinically innovative programs, including Primary VirtualCare, to reimagining provider schedules to put our people and our patients first. We have continued to expand our geographic footprint, without wavering our commitment to providing patient-centered care, supporting research initiatives and promoting the well-being of our people.
While we only have room to highlight a fraction our achievements from FY23, this report reflects the hard work and spirit of our entire team. My sincere appreciation goes out to all of our staff, providers, board members, colleagues and patients for contributing to this exceptional year of growth and learning.
All my best,
Steven J. Kravet, M.D., M.B.A.
