FY22 Annual Report: President's Letter
A Message From the President
Steven J. Kravet, M.D., M.B.A.
Welcome to the Fiscal Year 2022 Annual Report for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP). Here you will get to know our organization and read stories of success and achievement from our last fiscal year, July 2021 through June 2022.
As I write this message, we are a proud team of 1,594 dedicated individuals. More than 550 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives provide primary, specialty and hospital-based care in nearly fifty clinical spaces and Johns Hopkins Medicine member hospitals. Our practices and administrative spaces extend across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and now Virginia, with the addition of our McLean practice in February of 2022. The geographic footprint of our organization is vast and continues to grow to support the Johns Hopkins Health System and the communities we serve.
Our leaders and teams have met the challenges in health care over the past few years with resilience and strength. Despite countless trials, JHCP continues to grow, innovate and move health care forward. As you’ll read in the report, we expanded our innovative primary care programs, grew the Johns Hopkins Medicine VirtualCare program and welcomed new practices and services to our organization, all while improving health care quality outcomes for our patients and expanding programming to enhance the joy and well-being of our teams.
Although this year’s report highlights only a small fraction of the tremendous accomplishments we have achieved throughout the year, I hope it will serve as a reflection of our entire team and everything accomplished for our patients and each other. Our mission remains: We bring Johns Hopkins Medicine to our communities. This report is a tribute to that pursuit.
My most sincere thank you to our patients, staff, providers, board members, friends and supporters for contributing to our year.
All my best,
Steven J. Kravet, M.D., M.B.A.
