Bariatric Surgery Support Groups
Support groups are open to pre- and post-operative patients and often feature speakers presenting on topics including exercise, nutrition and more. Pre-operative patients can also gain valuable insight on life after surgery. You're welcome to attend any or all meetings each month. Please try to bring a support person with you.
Baltimore
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center offers hour-long virtual support groups for bariatric surgery patients on the first Wednesday of the month at 12 p.m. and the third Thursday of the month at 5 p.m. The groups are led by a bariatric surgery clinician or staff.
