Cancellation, No Show & Refund Policies for Training Programs
I am cancelling or modifying a:

In-Person Workshop
In-Person Participants | |

Cancellations | Allowed >30 days prior but will only refund 95% (minus administrative fee) |
Participant Substitution | Allowed > 7 days prior |
Switching Sessions | Allowed > 10 days prior |
Cancellation:
Standard and virtual registrants who need to cancel must do so at least 30 days before the training program date.
- Cancellations made at least 30 days before workshop, will receive a refund minus a 5 percent administrative fee.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the training program, will not receive a refund.
Registration Modifications:
- Registration modifications to indicate a substitute participant must be completed at least seven business days before the training program date.
- Registrants may cancel or modify their registration for the training program (within time frame described above) by logging into their registration record to complete this transaction.
- To switch a registration to attend a different session date, registrants must contact us at least 10 business days before the training program date. Please contact [email protected] to complete this transaction.
Virtual Workshop
Beginning January 1, 2022:
All workshops must be cancelled 14 days prior to the start of the class, otherwise a no-show fee will be charged.

Johns Hopkins Medicine registrants who need to modify or cancel registration must do so at least two weeks prior to the training program date.
Cancellation and Modifications:
- Registration modifications to indicate substitute participant must be completed at least seven days before the workshop date.
- Registrants may cancel or modify your registration at least two weeks prior to the training program date, by logging into their registration record to complete this transaction.
- Registrants who do not cancel or transfer within the given time-frame, or do not attend the course, will not receive a refund.
- If you are a Johns Hopkins University employee, your department budget will be charged the full cost of tuition.
Online Self-paced Learning Course
Armstrong Institute online courses are not eligible for refunds. The purchase of an online course is final. Before purchasing, please ensure that you understand the technical requirements and have appropriate online access.
Event Cancellation Policy
The Johns Hopkins Medicine Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality reserves the right to cancel or postpone the training program due to unforeseen circumstances. In this event, Armstrong Institute will refund the program registration fee but is not responsible for travel expenses.
