Johns Hopkins All Children's nutritional services offer specialized counseling and education in diabetes and pre-diabetes.

We work with your endocrinologist to develop a plan specific to the type of diabetes your child has, their medication, and if they have an insulin pump.

We provide an individualized plan for each patient whether they have type 1, type 2, or pre-diabetes. Our dietitians will educate you on how to better control blood sugars, signs and symptoms of low and high blood sugars, what foods contain carbohydrate, and principals of carbohydrate counting.
