Center for Pediatric Early Phase Trials
The Center for Pediatric Early-Phase Trials serves as a resource to investigators, including helping to navigate (in partnership with the Center for Pediatric Clinical Research Training, Education and Engagement) investigators through review and approval processes and engaging the expertise of cores and shared resources in order to enhance efficiency and quality of early-phase trial planning and execution.
The Center also serves as the home of faculty expertise for early-phase pediatric clinical trial design and conduct, providing consultation and mentorship and enabling collaboration and knowledge-sharing. The Center fosters collaboration among Johns Hopkins All Children’s clinical and laboratory investigators, and with external collaborators, to perform PK/PD analyses and to plan and execute investigations of biologic correlates as part of phase 1 and 2 clinical trial designs.
