Dana Dalton, M.S.
Dana is a Patient Navigator for the Breast Surgery division, joining the team in November 2021. Dana works with Dr. Julie Lange and Dr. Melissa Camp. She has a master of science degree in counseling psychology from Loyola University Maryland and a certificate of completion in oncology patient navigator training from George Washington University. Her professional background prior to patient navigation is in mental healthcare and higher education administration. Dana first learned about the concept of patient navigation following her own breast cancer diagnosis and treatment at Johns Hopkins in 2013. She is grateful for all of the support, information and guidance provided to her from her own patient navigator. Now, she embraces the opportunity to do what she can to support newly diagnosed breast cancer patients along their own journeys.
Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, playing with her dog, doing yoga, taking long walks, cooking and trying new restaurants, and reading.
