Building on decades of pioneering research on the treatment of alcohol, nicotine, opioid, and other drug dependencies, the Johns Hopkins Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and Research is a multidisciplinary center designed to integrate and coordinate Hopkins’ substance abuse treatment services, improve the patient’s experience and track patient outcomes, and strengthen teaching and research in addictions.
