Addiction Medicine Unit

The Addiction Medicine Unit (AMU) is a 12-bed inpatient medical unit that provides safe, medical detoxification for those addicted to alcohol or benzodiazipines.

Other services offered by unit staff include health education and recovery groups (including a 12-step program). We also have a social worker and peer recovery coach on staff for support and after-care planning.

Admissions

Admission screenings are facilitated through the Intake Office, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Appointments are required. To make an appointment or learn more, please contact our intake offices at 410-550-1908.
