JHEAP provides 24/7 access to free confidential counseling and referral services to employees and their household family members. Services include in person or tele-video short term counseling to provide emotional support to help manage stress at work or at home, emotional distress, a difficulty life transition or other challenges. JHEAP also provides daily life assistance: such as resources and referrals for child care and elder care, pet care and household services as well as consultation for legal and financial services.

The National Academy of Medicine provides a searchable database for toolkits, educational materials, and other resources relevant to clinician well-being.

The American Medical Association offers a selection of helpful modules on physician burnout and well-being.

The National Academy of Medicine launched the Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience, a network of more than 200 organizations committed to reversing trends in clinician burnout.

This 60 min video/discussion session is designed to be used in small groups within a residency or fellowship program to encourage an open discussion about depression and suicide within the medical professions.

Three sessions focus on building resilience in trainees: (1) Introduction to Resilience and Setting Realistic Expectations; (2) Identifying and Processing Stressful Clinical Events; and (3) Gaining Gratitude.
