The Johns Hopkins Eating Disorders Program

Our medical faculty and staff work in outpatient, inpatient, and day hospital eating disorders programs and can follow patients across the continuum of care we provide. All our physicians and staff have special interest and expertise in eating disorders. The attending physician in the Inpatient Program and the Day Hospital Program collaborates closely with the rest of the treatment team to develop an individualized plan for each patient. The team meets daily with each hospitalized patient to review progress and discuss the individualized plan.

For over 30 years, the faculty and staff of the program have participated in teaching and research on eating disorders. Scholarly activities include research, scientific publications, participation in professional conferences, and implementation of teaching programs.
