What is brain stimulation used for?
- Voice disorders (vocal cords paresis or partial paralysis)
- Balance and coordination disorders (ataxia)
- Swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
- Weakness (hemiparesis), impaired cognition, chronic pain and similar symptoms
- Psychiatric conditions, including medication-resistant depression
