Live Cooking Demo from Priority Partners Attracts Crowd at Wharton Regional Park
Continuing a series called Healthy Hacks, Priority Partners hosted another live cooking demonstration for the public at the Family and Father’s Day Celebration at Wheaton Regional Park on Saturday, June 10. Priority Partners worked with a chef from the Maryland Food Bank to walk through the steps of how to cook a cheap, healthy stir-fry for a family.
The Healthy Hacks series kicked off last summer with a cooking demo at the Caroline County Public Library. This time, parents and children watched the cooking experience as part of a day focused on families. Attendees enjoyed games, music and food, plus assistance signing up for pre-K, health screenings, community resources and more.
