Priority Partners In The Community
Cupboards Stocked by Michele’s Granola
One of the best things about the Priority Partners Cupboards Project is that it is for the community, by the community. Michele's Granola has been a strong supporter of the project.
When the first Cupboard was installed at Harbor West Collaborative in the Mount Winans community of Baltimore, Michele’s Granola was there, handing out free granola to attendees of the grand opening event.
Fast forward to October at the launch of the mobile cupboards for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County and Harford and Cecil Counties, and Michele’s Granola was there again, this time not only giving out free granola samples, but demonstrating how to make apple nachos.
In December, staff from Michele’s Granola stocked one of the community Cupboards, providing a free source of nutritious food for neighbors. Between the event sponsorships, the giveaways, the snack demonstrations and keeping the Cupboards stocked, Michele’s Granola has embodied the "take what you need, leave what you can" spirit that defines the Cupboards.
