Champions and Ambassadors
Our 2026 Champions
Become a Children's Center Champion

Champions like those in the stories above are a select group of six to eight outgoing kids with compelling stories who are excited to serve as dedicated spokespeople for Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. - Comfortable sharing their story (with parent/caregiver support) in person and/or, through recorded audio/video, print, photography and written formats
- Able to attend at least three (3) JHCC corporate events such as golf tournaments, Dance Marathon celebrations, Costco Wholesale’s Midway to Miracles, etc.
- Willing to be featured in and attend the Mix 106.5 Radiothon in February and the Miracles in Motion 5K Run/Walk in September.

If you're interested in similar opportunities, but looking for less of a commitment, maybe our Patient Family Ambassador program is a fit for you!
Become a Children's Center Patient Family Ambassador

We are excited to welcome Johns Hopkins Children’s Center (JHCC) patient families willing to share their journeys and speak on behalf of the Children’s Center to engage with fundraising partners throughout the year and help raise awareness in their communities about the compassionate care and impact of philanthropy at the Children’s Center.
Fill out the form below to be considered for the program. Once you have submitted the form, a JHCC development staff member will reach out within a few days to schedule an introductory call to hear your story and answer questions about the program.
Champions vs. Patient Family Ambassador: What's the Difference?
While both roles offer the opportunity to represent Johns Hopkins Children's Center, there are some key differences. Ambassador families offer flexible, ongoing support and community connection, while Champions are a smaller, selected group that commits to a year of higher-visibility advocacy, engagement and fundraising.
