Operation Volumes

Vascular surgery fellowships across the country are struggling to provide their trainees with adequate open operative experience. At Johns Hopkins, we pride ourselves on our volume of thoracoabdominal and complex open aortic/visceral segment reconstructions, as well as lower extremity tibial/pedal bypasses. As can be seen from the chart below, our fellows graduate with extensive and well-balanced operative experience in both open and endovascular surgery, preparing them for any job they choose.
