Clinical Rotations at Johns Hopkins
Core clinical rotations follow COCATS Guidelines and include 24 months of clinical service. Rotations include a weekly continuity clinic for three years of clinical training (COCATS requirement). Our fellows rotate at two primary clinical sites located 15 minutes apart by car: The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The former is a quaternary care referral center and the latter is a community center that is the fourth-largest hospital in Maryland. Through clinical training, our fellows are able to easily meet all ACGME/COCATS training and procedural requirements. They also have opportunities to obtain COCATS Level 2 training in echocardiography, nuclear imaging and cardiac CT.
