Emergency Entrance
Our two Emergency Departments—one for adults and the other for children—are located at the front of the hospital, off Orleans Street. The entrances feature a sheltered drop-off area for quick access to both Emergency Departments
Meyer Building Entrance
Patients and visitors to the Meyer building, please use the Wolfe Street entrance at the end of the traffic circle.

When a medical issue requires you to travel far from home to receive the care you need, you can rely on our team of specially trained care coordinators to make this process easy. We will address your medical needs, as well as your individual preferences and any cultural, linguistic and religious expectations, helping make Johns Hopkins feel as close to home as possible. Parking
For convenient access to The Johns Hopkins Emergency Department, patients may be dropped off right at the hospital’s main Orleans Street entrance. For parking, please park in the Orleans Street Garage. The Orleans Street Garage is located:

Overnight Entrance Closures
Every night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., access into and out of the hospital is limited to the main hospital and emergency room doors facing Orleans Street. During these hours, please park in the Orleans Parking Garage and take the Hospital Bridge to the Sheikh Zayed Tower. Learn more.
