View profile

When Dr. Walsh arrived in Baltimore in 1974 to serve as the Director of the Brady Urological Institute, he found common cause in Johns Hopkins Medicine’s mission of discovery and heritage of excellence. Dr. Walsh turned the operating room into his laboratory, making anatomical discoveries and pioneering surgical techniques that revolutionized treatment for prostate cancer and the well-being of patients.

To celebrate his 50th year at the Brady, we invite you to make a gift in honor of Dr. Walsh to establish the Patrick C. Walsh Discovery and Learning Laboratory within the Surgical Learning and Innovation Center of Excellence (SLICE) – the future home of transformative surgical discovery, innovation and learning at the Brady Urological Institute.

Like its namesake, the Patrick C. Walsh Discovery and Learning Laboratory will incubate future discoveries and nurture urologic surgeons-in-training as they rehearse complex procedures and learn and develop new techniques.

Thank you in advance for helping to perpetuate Dr. Walsh’s commitment to training and discovery.
