About Us
Through the generosity of James Buchanan Brady, the Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins opened in 1915 and was the first urologic hospital in the United States. Since its inception, the Brady Institute’s clinicians and researchers have sought new challenges and pioneered techniques that have changed the face of urologic medicine.
The Brady Institute continues to be a leader in the field, perfecting minimally invasive surgical techniques, transforming the field of kidney transplantation and training future leaders.
