The Pediatric Psychiatry Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s in St. Petersburg, Florida, treats children and teens with a variety of mental health disorders including ADHD, anxiety, depression, psychosis and behavioral conditions. Services include new patient evaluation and medication management.

Our psychiatrists are medical doctors who treat mental health concerns in children and teens. They perform diagnostic evaluations for a number of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and irritability associated with autism. They prescribe medications for the diagnosed conditions and make referrals to the appropriate psychologists and neuropsychologists who may provide additional evaluation with formal testing like IQ and learning disorder tests, autism testing, and highly sophisticated neuropsychologic testing. Our psychiatrists will also refer for psychological therapies to Ph.D., Psy.D, and masters-prepared mental health professionals for appropriate psychologic and behavioral treatments.
