Michael Chilazi, MD, Thayer Firm
Michael grew up in Boston and attended Harvard for college and medical school. Prior to starting medical school, he spent a year teaching in England (where he quickly learned his American accent was not considered equally charming). He moved to Baltimore with his partner Jen in 2019 to begin his residency in the Osler program. Following that, he moved back to Boston for his cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. His interests include intersections of electrophysiology and heart failure as well as applications of digital health technologies to improve healthcare disparities. Michael is excited to be back in Baltimore to work with the Osler program’s dedicated and exceptional housestaff. In his free time, you will find Michael and his partner Jen walking (being dragged by) their pup, Paolo.

Michael Goestch, MD, Barker Firm
Michael grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where he graduated with degrees in biology and Spanish. He earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham before completing his internal medicine training in the Osler Medical Residency as a member of the Thayer Firm. After residency, he completed his first year of cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. He is interested in a career in heart failure and preventive cardiology. His clinical and research interests include personalized risk stratification, early risk factor modification to prevent cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular imaging, and medical education. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys reading, watching movies, taking his dog, Bella, for walks, hosting friends for dinner, and hiking. He is also an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Michael Kozik, MD, Janeway Firm
Mike grew up in Naperville, IL, outside of Chicago. He went to the University of South Carolina for undergrad (go Gamecocks!), Loyola University in Chicago for a master's degree in medical physiology, then moved back to SC for medical school at the USC School of Medicine in Columbia. After completing residency with the Osler program in 2022, he stayed on at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a hospitalist. He is interested in medical education and previously led the Case Oriented Report clinical reasoning conferences for academic year 2022-2023. He is now applying for cardiology fellowship with the plan to explore heart failure and cardiac imaging. In his free time, he is a music and film enthusiast of both high- and low-brow genres. He is also an avid basement guitar player. When weather permits, he and his wife, Liane, can be seen hiking the Patapsco Park trails with their French Bulldogs, Pamb and Gus Gus. As an ACS, he is looking forward to mentoring the Osler program’s amazing trainees while sharing in the personal and educational growth that is unique to the journey of the O.

Margaret Krasne, MD, MPH, Longcope Firm
Meg grew up in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Harvard Medical School, where she spent an extra year earning a master's of public health from the T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to her ACS year, she was a Health Systems Management fellow at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is interested in issues related to healthcare quality and access, particularly as they pertain to patients with chronic illness and end-of-life care. She is excited to return to the Osler Medical Residency, a community in constant pursuit of clinical excellence and deeply committed to patient care and each other. When not in the hospital, she enjoys spending time walking along Baltimore’s inner harbor, seeing movies at the Charles Theater, trying new restaurants, and traveling.

Lindsay Sheets, MD, MPH, Ambulatory ACS
Lindsay grew up in Mobile, AL. She attended Birmingham-Southern College for undergraduate school and University of Alabama at Birmingham for both medical and graduate school. Prior to ACS year, she completed medicine-pediatrics training here at Hopkins in the Med-Peds Urban Health Primary Care residency program. Lindsay is passionate about providing equitable primary care across the lifespan for patients experiencing homelessness and patients with medical complexity, chronic diseases of childhood, and disability. As ambulatory ACS, Lindsay can't wait to work closely with every single Osler resident-- no firm favorites here (though she was a Janeway Giant during residency!). She also hopes to grow resident comfort with outpatient medical management of complex patients and help residents nurture meaningful longitudinal relationships with their continuity clinic patients. Outside of work, Lindsay loves to exercise, walk in Patterson Park, sing classical and jazz music, enjoy live theater, and debate trashy reality tv with friends and family.
