Darla Shores, medical director of The Hopkins Resource for Intestinal Vitality and Enhancement (THRIVE) program, discusses her presentation, JPGN Year in Review: Highlights for the Pediatrician, which she gave at the 2023 American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference & Exhibition. The Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (JPGN) is the official journal of the North American and European societies of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. During this presentation, she discussed the clinical research she reviewed the past year, including the efficacy of oral psyllium fiber in pediatric irritable bowel syndrome and the adolescent patient experience with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
