Neonatologist Preceous Jensen, D.O., FAAP, discusses the Feeding Enhancement and Development (FEED) clinic at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. The FEED clinic provides outpatient service to help infants develop oral feeding skills to reduce reliance on the nasogastric tube (NG tube). This allows families to take their babies home earlier and continue development in the home environment. Generally, the infants develop their oral feeding skills in 30 days or less.
