Since 2005, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Maternal Fetal Medicine Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Institute of Genetic Medicine have jointly offered a four-year fellowship program for combined training in MFM and medical genetics. Physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology and wish to participate in a maternal and fetal medicine (MFM) fellowship may integrate their MFM fellowship with a medical genetics residency.
