    The Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program is committed to Johns Hopkins’ continued mission of setting the world standard in patient care, medical education and research. We aim to train the radiology leaders of tomorrow across the spectrum of clinical and academic practice.     Johns Hopkins has received ACGME approval and implemented early specialization in interventional radiology training so that residents can begin their interventional radiology (IR)/diagnostic radiology (DR) training in the first year. The program is committed to providing residents with every possible means of training in IR/DR for those who decide to pursue interventional radiology after the first year, as well as the flexibility to select a different pathway.
