Clinical Focus
Meghan has over a decade of experience as a Nurse Practitioner for the Johns Hopkins Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, where she developed expertise in the care of bronchiectasis due to cystic fibrosis and in NTM lung infection. In addition to a background in Intensive Care Unit nursing, Meghan earned a certification in clinical case management and served as a clinical case manager for patients with complex medical problems for over three years. As a case manager, she coordinated care between multiple healthcare providers and provided patient education and preventative care for multiple medical conditions. Since joining the Johns Hopkins Center for Nontuberculous Mycobacteria and Bronchiectasis in 2018, Meghan serves as the lead nurse practitioner and Director of Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT). In this role, she provides comprehensive outpatient care to patients with NTM and bronchiectasis and coordinates intravenous (IV) antibiotic administration.
