I liked Dr. Wedam and he explained his view of my heart condition. My only complaint is that the notes of the visit are surprisingly filled with errors - pronouns of "he" throughout (my pronouns are she/her), ER visit was to Sibley, not Suburban, etc. Will be curious as to how follow-up goes.

Dr. Wedam is a good educator. I have episodes of incredible cognitive fog so it's hard to tell sometimes if I don't understand, if it's me. I felt like I'd annoyed the doctor with the pre-op request I arrived with and I didn't fully understand why the symptoms I have are not a cardiac issue however Dr. Wedam has explained in the past that the heart is a victim to other issues sometimes so there's nothing cardiac to treat. I still don't understand the cause of my symptoms well at all. I will ask my Primary.

Dr. Wedam conducts a pacemaker test on the sppot. So I know I have 1 year left on the current battery. I feel secure that we agreed I will return to the office in 6 months, he will check again, and we will plan the battery replacement.
