Dr. Albayda is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology. She is the Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program, as well as Director of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Injection Clinic. Nationally, she is involved in MSK Ultrasound education and has expertise in arthritis and inflammatory myopathies. Her research focuses on imaging biomarkers in rheumatic diseases, developing muscle ultrasound, clinical phenotypes in myositis, as well as longitudinal care and therapeutics in inclusion body myositis.

Dr Albayda's knowledge & willingness to share all that she has garnered was impressive. Her communication skills are excellent. Dr Albayda is an excellent doctor - very knowledgeable on IBM issues and personable. Always listens to the patient / and his wife and interacts very well in conversation and discussing options for treatment. Highly recommend. Plus, she introduced us to [Staff ], MD - who was great and performed an ultrasound procedure on my arms / legs.

I have been a patient of JH Rheumatology department for over 10 years and have had the terrific fortune of being a patient of Dr Albayda for these many years as well.
