Dr. Harry Quon is an associate professor of radiation oncology and molecular radiation sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also holds appointments in oncology and in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery. His area of clinical expertise is radiation treatment for head and neck cancers.
He serves as the co-director of the Johns Hopkins Head and Neck Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic.
Dr. Quon received his M.D. from the University of Toronto Institute of Medical Science. He completed his residency at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Ontario and performed a fellowship in radiation oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Beth Israel Medical Center.

Research Summary
Dr. Quon’s research focuses on reducing treatment toxicity. He is leading research into different strategies that are de-intensifying therapy in oropharynx cancers that are associated with the human papillomavirus (HPV).

Dr. Quon and [staff] (RN with his practice) is by far one of the best clinicians I have ever had the opportunity to be treated by. His skill level and knowledge of Head & Neck CA and its treatment are fantastic and he has a genuine "bed side manner" that puts a patient at ease from the first meeting all the way through treatment and post-treatment.

Dr Harry Quon is highly unusual among physicians I have worked with. He is both a good listener and often provides specific recommendations. He always explains his thoughts and ideas about his findings upon examination. I come to Baltimore from New York City once a hear for follow-up visits after an old cancer. I am 78 years old and will continue to travel to see Dr Quon as long as I am physically able.
