Engaging and understanding

Dr Schwartz is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything at an understandable level without being deeming.

Referred to chart and lab data before answering questions or making recommendations. This made me feel more confident in those answers/recommendations.

Provided and answered my question as to why the pharmacist might have questioned the refill order of the [RX] 2.5 MG tablet and [RX]25. He directed me to continue both medicines as I had previously been instructed to do. I followed his advice. He also shared with me that he himself had been a pharmacist.

Dr Schwartz has always been phenomenal. Especially now that I am pregnant I have had concerns about my blood pressure a few times and his calm and very human demeanor has been incredibly helpful. I always know he will tell me whether there is a true need to be concerned. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a fantastic provider. I only wish I was delivering at Howard general so I could be assured he would be close by if any cardiac services were needed.

This was a follow-up after a stenting procedure. The provider did not see the need for a basic check-up, which included listening to heart sounds, checking for edema, etc. I assumed it was because I saw him right after the procedure.
