Background
Dr. Stanislav Spivak is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His area of clinical expertise is adult psychiatry in the community setting.
Dr. Spivak received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in psychiatry. He subsequently completed a research fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
He is the medical director for Mobile Treatment Services of Community Psychiatry (COSTAR). COSTAR is an Assertive Community Treatment program that operates on a 24/7 basis to provide at-home and in the community services to those with the most serious and persistent mental illnesses.
Dr. Spivak has published on a variety of topics related to individuals with serious mental and substance use disorders as well as services available to those individuals.
