Background
Dr. Rupert Hung is a hospitalist at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He received his M.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM) and completed his internal medicine residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He practices general internal medicine and is interested in the medical education of medical students and resident physicians. He was inducted into the Distinguished Teaching Society of JHUSOM for his continuing work with medical students. In addition, he has received multiple awards for his clinical excellence and dedication to patient care and medical education.
Dr. Hung has also been recognized for clinical excellence in his peer review work ensuring medical standard of care and appropriate utilization management for patients throughout the United States. He further serves as a physician peer reviewer for the Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System evaluating the quality of medical care delivered to veteran patients. Through this work, Dr. Hung has helped ensure that the care provided to our veterans is evidence-based and of the highest quality.
