Background
Dr. Kornberg completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University. He then received M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and stayed at Johns Hopkins for neurology residency and a clinical and research fellowship in neuroimmunology. He is committed to a career that combines the competent and compassionate care of patients with multiple sclerosis and other immunolgic disorders of the nervous system with basic and translational research aimed at developing improved therapies.

Research Summary
Dr. Kornberg conducts basic and translational research aimed at better understanding the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis, particularly the processes that drive progressive disability such a neurodegeneration and remyelination failure.
