Naomi De Tablan, D.P.M., is a podiatrist in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She specializes in foot and ankle surgery and nonsurgical treatments of foot and ankle conditions. She has experience caring for people with foot and ankle conditions including sprains, arthritis, deformities, wounds and related conditions. She is also skilled in a variety of procedures to restore the form and function of feet and ankles affected by trauma, injury or deformity.
Dr. De Tablan obtained her podiatric medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. She completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery with added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, California. She trained in all areas of podiatric medicine, wound management, sports medicine and diabetic limb salvage. Before joining Johns Hopkins, she was a podiatrist for the Providence Medical Group in California for five years.

X-rays were taken of my left ankle. It seemed to me that not much time was spent studing them.My ankle was alsoManipulated by the doctor and that seemed to go fast too, without explaination. Apart from these items, the doctor wasGreat in every other aspect.

Dr. De Tablan has a great bedside manner and listened intently as I described my medical history. She waited while I got an x-ray and was able to pull it up almost immediately to confirm the problem I was having and set a course of action,
