Background
Dr. Jun is a pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine physician. He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing, and in the care of critically ill patients in the Medical ICU. He is a member of the Sleep Fellowship Program Evaluation and Clinical Competency Committee and provides teaching to medical students and residents at Johns Hopkins.

Research Summary
Dr. Jun's long-term goal is to understand the bi-directional relationship between respiratory and metabolic health. Studies include metabolic / cardiovascular impacts of obstructive sleep apnea, effects circadian rhythm and sleep on substrate metabolism, and interventions for obesity hypoventilation syndrome.

Dr Jun is very good and always listens to what I have to say. He has always been on top of my sleep apnea and has always responded quickly when I sent messages. Unfortunately, I must leave his practice because my wife does not like driving that far into the city. We are transferring most of our needs to Bayview Medical.
